District 31 DCEP Goals
PRIORITY 1 – ALL STUDENTS LEARN TO READ WELL
- By June 2025, All D31 students in grades K-2 will show a 6% increase in overall growth in Foundational Skills from 90.7% to 96.7% as measured by the Acadience Assessment.
PRIORITY 2 – ALL STUDENTS ARE PHYSICALLY AND EMOTIONALLY SAFE
- By June 2025, there will be a 5% decrease in the overall number of incidents reported involving infractions A36/B39 (bullying) from 784 to 743 as measured by the OORS Reporting System.
PRIORITY 3 – ALL STUDENTS HAVE A HIGH QUALITY ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE
- By June 2025, the percentage of Grades K-2 students performing at or above the 41st percentile will increase by 5%, from 55% to 60% as measured by the NWEA MAP Growth Assessment.
- By June 2025, the percentage of Grades 3-8 students performing at or above the 41st percentile will increase by 5%, from 55% to 60% as measured by the NWEA MAP Growth Assessment.
PRIORITY 4 - ALL STUDENTS GRADUATE COLLEGE AND CAREER READY AND HAVE A STRONG PLAN AND PATHWAY TO ECONOMIC SECURITY
- By June 2025, the percentage of students enrolled in early college coursework (AP/IB) will increase 3% from 35% to 38% as measured by the Annual SMART Goal measures report.
PRIORITY 5 – ALL DISTRICTS AND SCHOOLS ARE MORE INCLUSIVE AND RESPONSIVE FOR PARENTS AND FAMILIES, INCLUDING HAVING MORE FAMILIES CHOOSE NYC PUBLIC SCHOOLS
- By June 30 2025, there will be an increase from 2024 families by 5%
PRIORITY 6 – CHRONIC ABSENTEEISM
- By June 2025, all schools with a projected Chronic Absentee rate of above 30% of students enrolled will reduce their actual Chronic Absentee rate to 29% or less as measured by ATS and Insight Data.
